Worst redesign ever

I’ve been using this app for almost a decade and you should fire whoever decided to redesign the app. The original one was so good and intuitive. Now the redesign has been like this for years - Wrong fonts wrong UI and crashes a lot. This app only makes you wanna smash your nanoleaf so hard. I don’t think the designer has ever used your products. It’s just the worst. What kind of team would think this app is good enough to go live? You should be embarrassed.

The device has been unresponsive and disconnected after updating to 3.0.2. When will this problem be fixed?

I am using 4D, the mode change can only be set in this app. Means it can’t mode change on homekit.

This app also not supported shortcuts, it’s impossible to setup automatic scripts.

電視氛圍燈無法使用app控制

我下載app後發覺裡頭的介面是日文。app內的設定找不到轉換語言的選項。一番摸索後，終於在手機（以iPhone為例）的設定找到：

1. 打開桌面「設定」

2.點選「Nanoleaf」app

3.於「偏好語言」選擇「簡體中文」（目前無支援繁體）

Unreliable products and horrible customer service

The essential strips don’t respond half the time and constantly need to be reset. If you’re lucky they might work for a few days at most before once again becoming unresponsive. This issue has only gotten worse with the new HomeKit updates. Similar issues with canvas, but less frequently. The adhesive provided for the mini-triangles stays put for a couple days, then the pieces begin falling off the wall. Customer Service was absolutely the worst when I reached out about an order. Making up all kinds of excuses and then even saying they needed a tax number to send (Taiwan doesn’t issue tax numbers for consumer imports.) I actually ended up receiving the order, but customer service was somehow clueless and still kept telling me they needed some nonexistent tax number or they’d cancel the order. Absolutely bizarre. (I’d had other orders come in from their division in Hong Kong prior to this normally and with no issues.) It seemed politically motivated (China does issue tax numbers for consumer imports, but of course Taiwan is a completely separate country from China.) If you are going to buy their products, which at this point I’d strongly discourage, buy from their authorized reseller here in Taiwan so you don’t have to deal with their customer service or their Hong Kong division.
