Slow speed is annoying
Every time I add a new vocabulary to my word list, this app will have to run for about 2-3 seconds. And for that period of time it makes me wonder if I hit the option properly.
One time that’s okay, but 10, 20… it’s pretty annoying…

Since memorizing with example sentence is a more efficient way to learn the vocabulary
Here are some suggestions:
1. Include (one or more) example sentence in the word list.
2. Display example sentences upon completing a word quiz
3. Additional quiz types suggestion: matching with Chinese or multiple choice questions
4. The word lists can be exported in Excel or PDF format.
5. Regarding the speed, as mentioned several times, yes it does run slower than other vocabulary searching/learning apps.
Pro: The search results are more precise compared to others and easily understandable for non-native learners.

Great having an app but
It’s great finally having an app for the Cambridge Dictionary, but the processing speed still has room for improvement. Also, I can’t seem to set English-Chinese (Traditional) as my default translating language. I have to manually change it every time I open the app. Hope there will be a setting for it in the future.

Flash cards
I hope in flash cards mode, we could see the definition and Chinese translation first , and then tap the card to show the word.
For now, it would show the word and its definition first and then tap the card to show the Chinese translation.

Very useful. But pronunciation audio doesn’t work.
I’ve been using Cambridge Dictionary for a long time. The app is convenient to review the vocabulary. There are two things I hope they will be fixed soon.
1. I couldn’t hear the pronunciation even I’ve turned my iPad’s volume in max.
2. When we save the vocabulary to the word list, it only shows definition. Could it show one example sentence fit with the definition?

Easy to use.
It’s a great design of building word list which can help us review the words that we have learned. It would be perfect if the screen can not be rotated in clockwise while you use the smart keyboard with your iPad.

I’ve been using Cambridge dictionary website for a long time and always hope there is an App to use. Finally I saw the advertisement of plus+ on the website. So excited!!! I can look up vocabulary and add it to the word list and review anytime. That’s really convenient!
One thing that might be improved is App runs quite slow.

I was glad to have your app at first with nice and friendly interface. However, app runs pretty slow whenever searching words. And surprisingly it doesn’t support landscape mode on iPad which is really inconvenience when I use my iPad with Smart Keyboard. Eventually I delete it.

It’s good we finally have a dictionary app from you, UI is good, but the app runs pretty slow, I’m using an IPhone XS Max, it lags for a moment whenever I’m searching for words, and that doesn’t happen when I’m using other apps like Bravolol.
Cambridge dictionary has precise and accurate definitions for words with good examples, this app will be perfect if the lag problem is fixed, it’d be quite odd that using a web version on safari is faster than using the app.

I have a problem with the audio and copying word list
I love the Cambridge dictionary. However there are some problems I am experiencing:
1/ The audio does not work. I clicked the audio symbol but no sounds.
2/ When I tried to copy the word list, the error message appeared
3/ The app runs quite slow, when I open the app or search new words.
I hope those problems will be solve soon.
