Just don’t use and don’t work with it. Or you may have to risk giving out your sensitive info.
This happens to me and my friends. After using LinkedIn for years, our accounts have been locked up all of a sudden. And LinkedIn required us to provide critical and sensitive personal info, like photos of our passport, diver license, or ID card, to prove our identities. Otherwise, we just loose our profiles.
The lousy process keep warning you of how they are going to use and store your critical information, and giving you the “not now” or “don’t share my info” buttons, which make it really skeptical and untrustworthy. Once you click those buttons, you will have to do the entire process all over again. So basically, you can only consent all what they want to do with your info.

Discrimination towards certain people
As someone who resides outside of an English-speaking country, I have found that LinkedIn’s platform does not offer sufficient opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Specifically, the platform seems to favor users with English names, leaving little room for those who wish to use their non-English names. This becomes particularly problematic for people who are trying to connect with employers in regions like Taiwan but are accused of not having an authentic identity simply because they use their Chinese name.
This exclusionary practice undermines LinkedIn’s mission of fostering global professional networking. Instead of promoting inclusivity, it seems to alienate those of us who wish to be recognized authentically in our own cultural contexts.

Account restricted and the team is stupid
Terrible experience. A worldwide platform with this kind of attitudes and help support ? 0 out of 10 and really stupid. My account was restricted by no valid detail mentioned and help center was not respecting me at all by just close my appeal right after sent me the same vague reply and no further solution or explanation . I can’t even login to do any context editing to avoid the violation or to simply deleting my restricted account.

Using Persona for identity verification, the app always crashes when scanning my passport. Initially, I thought it might be due to the instability of a new feature, but it's been several weeks now and the issue persists. I'm not sure if you've noticed this. Contacting customer service only results in vague responses like 'it's not within our department's scope, we'll forward it to another department,' but I haven't heard back from anyone yet. This team is stupid
I got a log in issue cause I got restricted for post incorrect profile infos, but which one? I am dead sure cause I check several times when I create it. I guess nobody is going to help me figure out, cause when I try to send safety request, they blocked me.
Yep, I guess I just gave Persona and LinkedIn my personal info( my passport infos) for free, but they didn’t support me.
When I try to call someone, oh I realize there is no tech support phone call I can make. The only way I can get help is the Help Center which required a LOG IN.
So I think this is how your safety team support us, you blocked us and make us stuck in the dead loop so you don’t have to deal with us. And you get our ID infos and god know what you guys going to utilize it, maybe sell them to i don’t know? China?

Works really great until they ban you for no reason
Recently began my trial of LinkedIn Premium and my account was restricted twice within 24 hours - I didn’t use any bot nor post any indecent content - I didn’t even post anything.
The recovery process is there, but no explanation on the reason of restriction whatsoever. And after the second time I got banned, the verification doesn’t even allow me to submit my ID, saying “you have submit a request earlier” which I can only assume comes from the first time I got banned.
The customer support is really frustrating as well, you don’t get to contact them if you can’t log in, and you basically can only pray to the LinkedIn gods.
The only fortunate part I would say is I only did LinkedIn premium on trial, please be aware if you plan on using LinkedIn premium.

Limited information and no reminder for subscription fee
I signed up for premium to test run, hoping to find valuable information. It is disappointing that information of companies are still limited. Also, the professional viewer’s profiles are still locked.
The auto renew function without ahead of time warning is not a good practice. I may not be able to refund but it leaves a bad taste that I won’t recommend the app nor to sign up for long term.

Have updated to latest version. But app keeps crashing when I scroll down to read more posts. Can easily reproduce with iPhone X. Please help check the crash issue🙏

The profile photo became darker than what I’ve uploaded.

Icon gone after update?
After update to the latest version, the icon to the app disappeared. Is this a bug?

cant log in
after I reinstalled the app, I can’t ever once log in with it(no problem with PC/LinkedIn job research though). It always landed me to a page saying ‘ just a quick security check’ but never load successfully. Can your customer support help fix it? Thanks.
