Introducing CabinConnect, a groundbreaking app within the SkyPath ecosystem, designed specifically for flight attendants to revolutionize in-flight safety. CabinConnect provides a direct, real-time communication channel between the cockpit and the cabin crew, allowing pilots to swiftly notify flight attendants of impending turbulence via discreet push notifications.
Pilots can filter through vast amounts of data and push only the most critical information directly to the flight attendants as actionable insights.
This ensures that the crew is informed instantly, enabling them to secure the cabin and themselves without causing unnecessary alarm to passengers. By complementing traditional systems like the public address system or individual calls, CabinConnect offers a faster, more intuitive way to enhance crew safety and operational efficiency.
How it works:
Once the pilot initiates the flight in the SkyPath app, the cabin crew can connect to it within the SkyPath iPhone app. Pilots can then send turbulence notifications directly from the SkyPath EFB app, which the crew can acknowledge. Pilots can track how many crew members have received and acknowledged a notification, ensuring a full communication loop and enhancing coordination throughout the flight.
